I am an educator with transdisciplinary interests. My research and practice work has explored a number of areas of communication design although a notable specialism is identity - particularly within the music industry. As a writer, I additionally contribute to a number of print and online publications.

I currently teach across the various levels of the BA (Hons) Graphic Design programme. However, my work at the University of Salford has included involvement in other undergraduate art & design courses as well as the delivering of specific modules within both music and media. My previous positions included teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level across a number of disciplines.
