Biography

Catherine Savin joined the University of Salford as a member of the School for Nursing, Midwifery, Social Work and Social Science in 2005. Having worked as the Programme Lead for undergraduate Adult Nursing Programme, she has now relinquished her managerial role and has returned to lecturing and is the co-module leader for Transdisciplinary Science.

Prior to joining the university in 2005, Catherine worked as an Orthopaedic Nurse and as a Health Visitor. Her academic interests are eclectic but in the main she is interested in clinical skills, high fidelity simulation, health promotion and non-medical prescribing.
