Biography
Allan graduated from the Sport Rehabilitation programme at Salford in 2007 and went on to complete his PhD looking at ACL injuries in 2013. Since graduating Allan has taught at the University of Derby and University of Bradford before returning to Salford in 2015. Clinically, Allan has worked in Rugby Union since 2008 at Caldy RUFC, Sedgley Park RUFC and North of England Counties U20s. Allan regularly takes students on placements at rugby to offer them more insight into the sport. He has also worked with England Handball, GB U-20's Basketball as well as in Rugby League and a number of other athletes from various sports. In addition, Allan has been a member of the BASRaT Executive Committee since 2009 and now holds the position of Executive Committee Chair.
