Over the past 15 years the commercial and grant funded research carried out in Octave has been used to help space scientists plan operations on Mars. It’s provided the first objective views of how the brain responds to threats, in a safe setting. And it’s shown industry how to reduce risk by bringing global teams together in virtual environments for accurate testing and prototyping.

Traditional means of representing data fall short when dealing with huge data sets. The result is that communication between teams and the presentation of their findings can often be as confusing as the source data.
