Two students stood outside a stall at the Manchester Christmas Markets

From 17:00 we will be transporting you to the Manchester Christmas markets!

If you'd like to explore the world-famous Manchester Christmas markets, free coaches will be available to take you into the city centre. Coaches will be leaving from 17:00 - 17:30 from the bus stop at New Adelphi roundabout. The markets are uncovered, so please wear appropriate clothing.

We will be running return shuttle buses to the University campus at 19:30 and 20:00. Please note that if you are not on any of the returning coaches, we will assume you're making your own way home.

How to find us

The University car parks are likely to be very busy during the day, so where possible we would encourage you to consider public transport options.

When you arrive, the SEE building (M5 4BR) is in the centre of our campus - number 12 on our map. Follow the red and grey lantern signs and look out for our Student Ambassadors in red tops to help direct you.

Salford Crescent train station is just a five-minute walk from the university and a number of buses run along the Crescent.

There is limited parking available on campus and we would recommend that visitors use Delaney Car Park (M5 4NJ) (near the top of the map, opposite number 14, the University Sports Centre).
