Salford and Saudi Arabia

Two Middle Eastern Students from the University of Salford

Studying at the University of Salford is an exciting experience, and our industry-focused courses will prepare you for success. You will be taught by staff who are experts in their field, and you will put your learning into practice in real-world settings, such as through placements, live projects, field trips, or hearing from guest speakers.

We have a long history of welcoming students from Saudi Arabia to our campus and our students go on to have impressive careers. Find out more about studying here as a Saudi Arabian student below.

our alumni community

When you graduate from Salford, you will join a global community of over 180,000 alumni making a positive impact in their communities. We will connect you with this community to provide networking opportunities, events and mentorship programmes. You can also get lifelong careers advice from us.

Our graduates from Saudi Arabia are going on to achieve impressive results. For example, Dr. Bandar Alosaimi recently won the Social Impact Award at Study UK for establishing COVIDAT which translated scientific information during the pandemic into Arabic to avoid the spread of misinformation and misconceptions among people.

Some of our other noteable graduates who are from/working in Saudi Arabia include:

  • Dr Ahmed Aboabat, the Vice President of the Riyadh Command and Control Center is also a General Director for the National Center for Developmental and Behavioural Disorders which is part of the Saudi Health Council.
  • Robert Hope, the Managing Director for Egis KSA and the former executive director at Neom.
