Salford and Ghana
At the University of Salford, we have a long history of welcoming international students from all around the world. Ghana is no exception - we have a vibrant community of over 200 Ghanaian students studying across our campuses.
We value our links with Ghana and travel there regularly to visit schools, universities and to attend exhibitions. We have links with scholarship bodies such as the Ghana Education Trust Fund, Commonwealth and the Commonwealth Shared Scholarship, and we offer a range of other scholarships too.
Our courses are designed to be industry-focused and many offer students the opportunity to go on placement or work experience.
We currently run four courses in business at the Pentecost University in Ghana. These are delivered in conjunction with our Business School.
Some of our popular subject areas include: petroleum and gas engineering, gas engineering management, advanced control systems, managing innovation and IT, digital business, construction management, nursing studies (top up courses), law, accounting and finance, health and global environment, and architecture.
