We are proud to have developed strong connections to Uganda and the East Africa region. Currently we have over 140 students from East Africa studying at Salford.

When you join the University of Salford you will study with a large student community from across the world on a campus that is friendly and multicultural. Our lecturers are experts in their field who pride themselves on their links with industry and access to facilities that are used in groundbreaking research. You will also live in a thriving, vibrant city that has lots of history and culture.

Entry requirements

International Foundation year

Students with the Uganda Certificate of Education (UCE) may be eligible for entry onto our International Foundation year programmes.

 

Undergraduate

Students from Uganda are required to have the Uganda Advanced certificate of Education (UACE) for direct entry to undergraduate programmes.

 

Postgraduate

Ugandan students typically need to have completed a bachelor's degree with a minimum of Second Class lower.
