Studying at the University of Salford is an exciting experience, and our industry-focused courses prepare you for success. You will be taught by staff who are experts in their field, and you will put your learning into practice in real-world settings, such as through placements, live projects, field trips, or hearing from guest speakers.
Salford is at the centre of relationships being developed between Bangladesh and the Greater Manchester region here in the UK. There is a large Bangladeshi community in the area and we are pleased to welcome a growing number of students from Bangladesh to our University each year.
A new Bangladesh cultural society has just been started through the University of Salford Students’ Union, which offers social activities and celebrates the culture.

Our graduates from Bangladesh can go on to enjoy exciting careers, for example, Saidur Rahman Dipu is now head of Business Sales at Nagad, the Bangladeshi Digital Financial Service. Recent graduate Subha Rahman, who studied MSc Human Resource Management and Development is now working as a Competition and Planning Executive at the South Asian Football Federation.

Education consultants
Entry requirements
Undergraduate
Applicants who have achieved at least 70% in their polytechnic diploma will be considered for undergraduate study.
If you do not meet the entry requirements, you could take the International Foundation Year to gain entry onto this degree.
Postgraduate
Applicants with the following qualifications will be considered for postgraduate study:
- A four year BUET degree (55%)
- A four year UGC 'good' private university degree (60%)
- A master of arts, science or commerce degree
- LLM with first class
- A master of science (Eng) or master's engineering (50%) degree
