I teach social work skills including, assessment, communication, social work theory and group work.
In addition to generic social work teaching I teach learning disability specific topics to social work and nursing students across the school, these include womens’ studies, including forced marriage and domestic violence; forensic work and co-production. I particularly enjoy teaching alongside people with learning disabilities in such topics as introduction to learning disabilities and assessment skills.
