Dr John Thompson

Biography

Qualified as a diagnostic radiographer in 2004 and worked as a radiographer in x-ray and nuclear medicine at the University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust. From 2007-2010 completed the MSc Nuclear Medicine and from 2010-2015 completed a PhD focussed on the use of observer performance methods in radiation dose and image quality optimisation. Started work for the University of Salford on a service level agreement in 2015 and began a permanent position in October 2017. Now the academic lead for the MSc Dental Implantology programme in collaboration with ICE.
