The future of finance is a thought-provoking view of how the world of finance and accounting is changing.
The University of Salford is delighted to welcome Steven Swientozielskyj,President of the world's leading accountants professional association, the Chartered Institute of Management Accounts (CIMA).
The future of finance is a thought-provoking view of how the world of finance and accounting is changing. There are already stark new realities, where new skill sets and competences are required for many industries and global markets.
Steven says, "it is already too late to think about changing, you may already be behind the curve of what is required today." These changes will have significant impacts on all professional bodies, educational institutions, organisations, and individuals. There is already a shortage of individuals who have exemplar competences and skills that are now required.
This presentation has been met with global acclaim and will be based on interesting and insightful research, case studies and existential experiences.
Steven Swientozielskyj is an International speaker and expert on world class improvements relating to complex service issues. He has been a guest speaker for several global leading universities and multinationals and research papers have been developed on his leading-edge practices. Steven is a highly experienced executive, with decades of extensive, complex change management experience in multi-national and public organisations.
Steven has developed and authored the shared service qualification for CIMA, which was launched by CIMA globally in Berlin in October 2014. He has also developed several qualifications and digital on-line courses relating to business partnering to defuse this knowledge on an international basis.
In just 6 years of Steven joining CIMA he has rapidly moved through the ranks of Vice President, Deputy President and now President. Steven is also the vice-chair of the Association of International Certified Professional Accountants, the global organisation which represents 667,000 members and students from CIMA and its US equivalent, the American Institue of CPAs. Collectively, this association includes nearly a quarter of all the world's accountants who together are responsible for 30 trillion of the world economy.
