Event details

The Working Class Movement Library is proud to present another in its series of 'Radical Readings'.  The event will present accounts of the harrowing Peterloo Massacre, which became one of the bloodiest events in British history. The readings concentrate on the reports of those who were there.

Following the accounts there will be poetry reading from Oliver Lomax, and ballads from Jennifer Reid.

Christopher Eccleston, Julie Hesmondhalgh, Mike Joyce, Nico Mirallegro and Maxine Peake are all strong supporters of the Library, are booked to appear.

Colleagues at the Library are delighted that these tremendous performers have agreed to contribute their time and talent to the event. All of the proceeds from the fundraiser will go directly to the Library.
