We all contribute to research - join the celebration
Our month-long programme will showcase the research being carried out across the University of Salford, with a focus week taking place between 2 - 6 July at MediaCityUK where you can get involved with some of our flagship events.
The festival will bring together academics, students, industry and the public to discuss and develop the future research strategy. At the heart of the festival is the Postgraduate Research flagship conference SPARC, where festival goers can enjoy performances, music, family friendly fun and opportunities to meet with students and staff, share research interests and experiences.
As part of the festival this year, we will be showcasing a series of specially selected events that follow a ‘purple theme’ and hosted as part of our ‘purple tent’. Expect popular music and performances associated with the colour purple, work with researchers and organisations to support dementia and link in with the anniversary of the suffragette movement.
Join us at our Café Research pop-up to discuss all things research over a coffee or cocktail! Our pop-up will make an appearance at our Peel Park campus and at partner outlets in central Manchester throughout the duration of the Festival.
