Dark and witty monologue performance by Sam Grogan in the New Adelphi theatre
Thomas is waiting.
Waiting for a train to arrive.
Waiting for an opportunity.
Waiting for a moment to express who he truly is.
Waiting to change his life forever.
It's fair to say, Thomas isn't very well...
All Things Considered Theatre presents Waiting Room, performed by Sam Grogan and written by David Coggins. Thought-provoking, chilling, sometimes funny, Waiting Room is a play which explores the darker recesses of the human condition. It is a meditation on the nature of control—how we control ourselves and how we are controlled by others; it is an examination of identity and an investigation into the violence that lies beneath the surface of a society we call ‘civil’.
Winner of the ‘Best Theatre Production’ at the Buxton Fringe Festival and nominated for Best Performance in a Fringe Production at the Manchester Theatre Awards. Now, after a sell-out run, All Things Considered Theatre are excited to bring Waiting Room to the New Adelphi Theatre.
