Between 28/02 - 27/03/2022, we collaborated with a number of students, colleagues and local community members to organize four weeks of events, live streams, and tips for sustainable living.

Our Planet
University of Salford Wildlife Society
The Wildlife Society welcomes students from all backgrounds who share an interest and appreciation for wildlife!
Working alongside Salford Rangers, the University's Environmental Sustainability Team and national wildlife conservation charities, they organize workshops, talks from professionals, survey opportunities and exciting trips. You’ll get the chance to see an array of wildlife including invertebrates, small mammals, reptiles and plants. The society is also a great place to build professional development.

Friends of Peel Park
The Friends of Peel Park group aims to make our beautiful neighbouring park a safe and welcoming place for everyone to visit. They organize regular litter picks, horticultural sessions and other volunteering activities, open to everyone in our local community.

Refill is an award-winning campaign from City to Sea to help people live with less plastic. Anyone can download the free app to tap into a global network of places to reduce, reuse and refill. From a coffee on your commute to drinking water on the go, or even shopping with less plastic.
