Professor Roger Bisby
I have worked at Salford in the Departments of Chemistry, Biochemistry and Biological Sciences, teaching biochemistry for over 30 years. My research interests in fast reactions and biochemical spectroscopy have lead to significant collaborations with scientists at Paterson Laboratories, Manchester, the Daresbury Laboratory and Rutherford Appleton Laboratories.
For some years leading up to RAE2008 I was Research Institute director in biomedical sciences. I retired in December 2013, but have maintained an interest in mutiphoton spectroscopy and photodynamic therapy.
