For as long as I can remember I have loved music andphotography and I am building a professional career which combines both, working as a music photographer.
In my commercial photography I look for the visualspectacle of music; spectacular light shows, crowds going mental to drum andbass. But in this project, I wanted to explore how sound can become anintrinsic element of a photograph.
‘A Moment of Euphoria’ is a multisensory installation which aims tostage the specific moment of joy in anticipation for the drop of a song in anight club setting. Byconverting imagery into sound then back into a spectrogram, my aim is to createa single format which expresses the relationship between music and photography.
