This module is designed to provide you with opportunities via work based learning, practical application of activities and mentoring to evaluate yourself and others, and reflect on techniques required to develop, jusify and defend a business case.
You can take this course as a single module for continuing professional development or as part of MSc Leadership and Management for Health Care Practice.

When accepting your offer of a place to study on this programme, you should be aware that not all optional modules will be running each year. Your tutor will be able to advise you as to the available options on or before the start of the programme. Whilst the University tries to ensure that you are able to undertake your preferred options, it cannot guarantee this.
This module will utilise a blended teaching and learning approach where theory will be underpinned by practice and practice will inform theory. Delivery will include lectures, seminars, debates and the use of the University's virtual learning environment, Blackboard.

This module can be taken as stand-alone for the purposes of continuing professional development. On completion of this module you will be able to apply appropriate methods of inquiry to bring about patient or service improvement within your organisation.

These relationships will be of direct benefit to you because our academic team work in practice in some of these organisations at a senior level so are able to keep you at the forefront of developments in the sector, which in turn help you provide a better service.
This module starts in January/February and lasts for one semester.

We welcome applications from students who may not have formal/traditional entry criteria but who have relevant experience or the ability to pursue the course successfully.
The Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) process could help you to make your work and life experience count. The APL process can be used for entry onto courses or to give you exemptions from parts of your course.
Two forms of APL may be used for entry: the Accreditation of Prior Certificated Learning (APCL) or the Accreditation of Prior Experiential Learning (APEL).
