Dr Thurai Rahulan
I obtained my first degree in Mechanical Engineering Science in 1979 and my PhD in 1984 from the University of Salford. I commenced full time employment in March 1983 designing aircraft control systems funded by the Ministry of Defence followed by a few years developing advanced suspension systems at Jaguar Cars Limited in Coventry. I started as a Lecturer in Aeronautics in 1990 at the University of Salford.
