10 August 2021
Today is A-level results day and SQA (Scottish Qualifications Authority) results day. You can apply for a place through Clearing as soon as you have your results.
Here at the University of Salford, our phone lines will open between 8:00 and 19:00 on 10 August. Results day can be busy, so we recommend contacting us as soon as possible to discuss your options. The fastest way to secure your offer is to call us, so contact our team on 0300 555 5030.
While calling is the quickest way to apply for a course, if you're not able to call, you can alternatively apply online. Message @salforduni on Facebook or Twitter with the word ‘Clearing’. Once we've received your message, we'll take you through the next steps.
Before you apply, make sure you know what course you're interested in studying (search our Clearing courses here) and have details of your qualifications - including GCSE results - ready.
Adjustment opens. If you've met and exceeded the conditions for your firm choice, you might be thinking about looking for an alternative course. Adjustment is a chance for you to reconsider where and what to study. If you've had a conditional firm choice accepted (and therefore made into an unconditional firm choice) you could potentially swap your place for one on another course you prefer. Learn more about Adjustment in our guide.
12 August 2021
GCSE results day
If we need your GCSE results to confirm your place, now’s the time to update us.
18 August 2021
This is the last day eligible applicants can use Adjustment.
The rest of August & September 2021
Last few places left
There may still be some places available on courses in late August and September, so if you’ve only just decided to apply, you may still get a place. However, courses fill up quickly in Clearing so we recommend not leaving it too late.
If you're ready to apply for a course, contact our team today. Our friendly and experienced Clearing advisors are here to support you with your application and any questions you may have. Calling us is the fastest way to secure your offer and get your questions answered - so contact us now on 0300 555 5030.
If now's not a good time to call, request a call back today so we can contact you at a convenient time.
While we'd always recommend calling us in the first instance, you can also apply for a course online. Message @salforduni on Facebook or Twitter with the word ‘Clearing’. Once we've received your message, we'll guide you through the application process.
