Join the Scavenger Hunt
Entry to the Scavenger Hunt is now closed. All entrants will be contacted week commencing 16 October 2023. You can now check the answers under Scavenger Hunt Checklist.
Get this academic year off to a great start by completing our Scavenger Hunt. This will challenge your knowledge of our key services and, if you’re based on or near campus, encourage you to get out and about to learn more about our campuses. Most of the Scavenger Hunt is an online hunt, so it could be pretty quick to complete if you've been paying attention to the information we've sent you!
We have lots of prizes to win including a £100 Inspire credit, £50 Inspire credit and £10 Salfood vouchers. Plus, anyone who completes our bonus prize draw will be in with the chance of winning some University of Salford merchandise too.
You can get involved whether you're a new or a returning student. Don't worry, new students - you'll be in separate prize draws!

Scavenger Hunt details
The Scavenger Hunt is open from 00:00 Thursday 14 September to 23:59 Sunday 1 October 2023 - that's midnight on Thursday night until midnight on Sunday night. Entrants had to:
- Read the instructions in our Scavenger Hunt checklist
- Find the answers to the questions and note them down
- Complete our online entry form before the closing time
Eligibility and prizes
- All current University of Salford students can take part
- You need to answer at least 50% of the questions correctly to be eligible for the prize draw
- There are five prizes to be won in our main draw: £100 Inspire credit for first place, £50 Inspire credit for second place, £10 Salfood vouchers for third, fourth and fifth place
- We separated new students and returning students into two different prize draws to keep it fair - we hope that returning students have a little more knowledge of campus than our new students!

- You can find askUS desks in our MediaCity building and University House (Peel Park campus).
- The Health Centre is in the Maxwell Building.
