Lecturer in Law (Practice) & Solicitor
I joined Salford as a Lecturer in Law (Practice) in September 2018, having previously worked at the University of Manchester as Solicitor/Manager of the Law School’s Legal Advice Centre. Prior to this I spent many years working as an in-house lawyer for trade unions, specialising in employment law. Before re-training and qualifying as a Solicitor I was employed in the public and national voluntary sectors, in various policy and research roles, focusing on social exclusion, equality and diversity. I am particularly interested in promoting access to justice and the delivery of advice and other services to excluded groups and communities.
