Diyar is a researcher in energy and buildings, he also runs day-to-day experiments in the Energy House test facility at the university of Salford. Energy House experiments consist of academic research and commercial testing of retrofit, heating systems and smart home controls.
His main focus is investigating energy performance and heat transfer in buildings through data driven experiments and Internet of Things (IoT) to monitor and improve energy efficiency and sustainability both in laboratory and in the field by analysing data.
