Careers & Employability have a range of Careers films which give advice from interviews, CVs, building skills, job searching. Some films include employer insight and feedback on what skills specific industries are looking for.

    The University of Liverpool have developed a set of 5 careers films. Each film takes a humorous and contemporary portrayal of different aspects of student employability in a gameshow format which include The Apprentice, Come Dine with Me, The Weakest Link, Mastermind and Deal or No Deal. The films explore how you as a student can develop and engage with those all important employabiity skills.

    Creative CV: Check out this innovative way to produce a CV. Created by 2 BA(Hons) Advertising Design Graduates from the University of Salford.

    How to be a Powerful Women: is a series of films made by Radio 4, with particular focus on powerful women's career paths. It covers fashion, politics, media, arts and more and features key messages such as 'be resilient', 'be a leader', 'be yourself'.

Why should I watch careers related films?

The films provide help and advice on all areas of applying for jobs, e.g. improve your CV or covering letters, learn how to find hidden jobs and improve the quality of your applications. Find out how to develop the kind of skills and personal qualities that employers and organisations are looking for.
