With a number of our students and staff being themselves ex-forces, the University of Salford is proud to support ex-forces personnel in their transition from military to civilian life. Our core strategy is to work closely with industry to help students develop and enhance skills, leaving the University ready for life. Our askUS team provides a wide range of support services including Counselling and Wellbeing, and Disability and Learner Support services. These services are free and confidential.
Ex forces breakfast
We will be holding a free breakfast for ex-military and ex-services students and staff in Atmosphere lounge on the last Wednesday of every month. Drop in between 8 – 10am for a free breakfast, tea and coffee.
This is a chance to meet your fellow ex-forces students, and staff, and to talk to others about transition into your student experience here at Salford. For more information please contact Evie Adams on firstname.lastname@example.org
