Creative Digital Media
Our creative digital media programmes pride themselves on offering innovative, practice-based programmes. All of our courses have strong links with industry, in the context of both consultation, curriculum enrichment and employability. The courses have build up a strong identification with industry across the region, nationally and internationally.
The BA (Hons) Digital Media course has benefitted from working directly with the BBC, BJL and Shop Direct in developing innovative and immersive digital strategies and campaigns. Industry collaboration is a fundamental feature of this relatively new programme, which embraces and develops our students’ digital specialisms in both interactive and motion media.
Computer and Video Games has broadened its relationship with collaborations with Matmi, The Neighbourhood and Escape Reality. Our students benefit directly form overnight ‘Jams’ with industry in addition to having direct involvement with companies and industry through symposiums and ‘testability’ events.
Animation students have benefitted from live briefs and embedded projects with Factory, Fuzzy Duck and Barnardo’s.
The courses share a philosophy of embedded and applied real world collaboration to add a relevant context to the skills based curriculum they offer.
Whether your interest lies in animation, computer and video games or film, a degree with us will equip you to be at the forefront of digital and film creativity.
