Brendan Williams

Pathway Leader: Interactive Music & Studio Production

My work centres on music production, recording and composition. I lecture in Music Technology and Studio based composition at both UG and MA level. Drawing from my own diverse experience of musical activity my research output is broad in nature. I have contributed to projects that range from recording and mixing Psappha's performance of Sir Peter Maxwell Davies' Eight Songs for a Mad King, to producing albums for the art pop band Dutch Uncles.

My work has received positive reviews across broadsheet press, specialist music publications and websites.

I teach across all Music technology modules allied to Interactive Music and Studio Production, which are also available to Music (Modular) and Popular Music and Studio Recording Students. I also supervise technology students at Masters level and deliver a module to Popular Musicology level 5.
