Partner With Us

We are passionate about bringing the School of Arts and Media experience to as many students as possible, no matter where they are located.

There’s a range of ways you could collaborate with us and benefit from a partner based in one of the UK’s key creative regions. These include:

  • Study exchanges – providing your students with the opportunity to study in the UK, while also benefitting from having UK-based students at your institution.
  • Short courses – we can offer bespoke summer schools and other courses for groups of your students, delivered at the University of Salford campus, allowing them to get a flavour of the experience of studying abroad and benefit from our range of expertise.
  • Research partnerships – combining resources and expertise to research an internationally-relevant issue.
  • Joint programmes and dual awards – giving students the chance to benefit from an education delivered by two institutions, featuring collaborative teaching and teaching in-country to deliver a truly international experience.

Why Salford?

Salford forms part of Greater Manchester, the second largest city in the UK and home to over 100,000 students from across the globe. The region is famous for music, culture and the arts, science and technology, sport including the world famous Manchester United and Manchester City teams, and of course, as a wonderful place to study.

At the School of Arts and Media, we offer a huge variety of programmes, from Fashion Image Making and Styling, Television and Radio, English and Creative Writing and Popular Music to Broadcast Journalism, Animation, Film Studies, Performance, Dance and Comedy Practices.

The University of Salford is the only university with a campus at MediaCityUK. This unique state-of-the-art facility is home to one of the largest communities of creative professionals in Europe and provides our students with unrivalled opportunities to work alongside leading organisations including the BBC and ITV. With this world-class resource available to all our students, we offer a wealth of possibilities for collaboration and partnership on the world stage.
