Alumni Achievement Awards

The Alumni Achievement Awards honour and recognise alumni who achieve excellence in their field and inspire others to succeed.

This year we introduced two new categories to sit alongside our established awards. The categories are:

Alumni Achievement Awards - We love to hear about graduates who have provided exemplary service to the University or the wider community, as well as those who have achieved greatness in the arts, charities or business sectors. Of course, not all achievements are made at work. We would also love to hear about Salford graduates who have overcome the odds in their personal lives or have made a humanitarian contribution.

Alumni Rising Star Awards – Celebrating our upcoming alumni talent, our Rising Stars have achieved amazing things in the short time since they graduated and are on their way to reaching ever greater success. This category is open to nominees who have graduated within the last ten years. 

NEW: The Alumni Lifetime Achievement Award - Recipients of this award strive toward the highest levels of personal and professional accomplishment and forge paths of leadership, inspiring those who come after them to grow and prosper. 

NEW: Alumni Volunteer of the Year Award - The recipient gives their time to raise the confidence and aspirations of our student body, helping us to create a rich and diverse, industry-led experience for our students. 

The awards are open to all alumni from the University of Salford and all of our predecessor institutions. We particularly welcome nominations about female alumni and those who are Minoritised Ethnic, as in the past they have been under-represented.

The call for nominations for our 2024 awards will open in early 2024.
