Peel Park Campus

Being based at Peel Park, you’ll be studying right next to the green space of the park itself. You’ll be close to the students’ union and the Atmosphere bar, and if you’re planning on moving away from home for your studies, Peel Park Quarter (one of the main accommodation areas) is only a couple of minutes’ walk away.

You can also catch the number 50 bus (free when you show your student ID) or jump on a train from Salford Crescent train station, and be in the centre of Manchester in a matter of minutes.

MediaCity Campus

Depending on your course, you may also study some modules at our MediaCity campus. We’re the only university to have a campus here, and our neighbours include the BBC, ITV and more than a hundred digital and creative businesses. It’s the ideal place to explore disciplines such as scriptwriting and offers the chance to collaborate with fellow students on a range of media and digital-based courses.

New Adelphi Theatre

Are you studying drama? Our 350-seat theatre features flexible seating configurations to suit a range of events and performances, both professional and student-led. It is equipped with a range of intelligent and generic lighting, a highly adaptable EM Acoustics PA system, and a high-powered Christie projector to provide the best possible environment for starring in, directing, or watching the show.

It’s also a great place to catch a show or two, with performances in a range of genres on offer regularly.

Studio theatre

Suitable for all types of performance, this classic black-box performance space offers a more intimate venue than the New Adelphi Theatre. It features flexible seating and staging, so you can shape the area to meet your creative needs.

Screen acting studios

Passionate about a career on the screen? Hone your skills using our two-screen acting studios.

Screen 1 provides a professional fixed set and three-camera HD facility so that you can practise in front and behind the camera. Screen 2 operates as a flexible and experimental space, with a mobile three-camera 4K-production unit, so you have the flexibility to capture a range of scenes and scenarios.
