Our Salford graduates are part of a global network of over 155,000 alumni. A community of peers providing endless opportunities for you to learn from and support one another, long after graduation.
Our alumni also hold a vast amount of knowledge, experience and insight that represents an essential resource for the University and our current students. Many of our alumni find getting involved with our activities both rewarding and beneficial, helping our current students whilst building their own business network and drawing on the expertise of alumni and students.
One of the best ways to remain involved with the University, and have an impact on our shared community, is to support the next generation of Salford students through volunteering your time, sharing your knowledge and helping to create opportunities for them. Not only does this make a huge difference to individual students, it also provides the opportunity to help inspire future leaders and professionals. At the same time, developing new skills and building on existing experience and knowledge.
If you are an alumnus and are interested in supporting current Salford students, there are several ways you can get involved, such as:
- delivering masterclasses
- careers talks in your area of expertise
- providing placements and live briefs
- recruiting Salford graduates.
Whether helping fund a scholarship for a gifted individual who would not otherwise be able to attend University, supporting cutting edge research with a global impact, or improving the experience of current students through one of a number of projects or campus improvement initiatives, your support is invaluable.
We’d also like to say a huge THANK YOU to all our alumni currently supporting our students in a multitude of ways- we really couldn’t do it without you!
