Applicant Visit Day - Wednesday 25 March 2020, 11.45am - 3.00pm
"Staff and student ambassadors were very accommodating and went into a lot of detail in explaining the courses. They also allowed you to ask a lot of questions."

An update on COVID-19
We are following the government and Public Health England’s guidance on coronavirus closely and, based on their current advice, we will not be holding any on-campus Applicant Visit Days for the forseeable future. We're pretty gutted about this as we know how important these visits are for helping you to make an informed decision about where to study.
We're working very hard on alternative ways of helping you get that Applicant Visit Day experience - keep checking your emails, more to come soon - and as a starter, we will still be running your Applicant Visit Day on Wednesday 25 March but it will be taking place as an on-line event instead. Details of the event will be displayed below.
All links on this page have been deactivated as the event has now finished. If you still have any further questions please feel free to contact us by emailing email@example.com or phone +44 (0)161 295 4545.
Whilst we are unable to provide you with a full Applicant Visit Day experience, this online event includes a number of sessions aimed at helping you through the decision-making process. The sessions on offer include a welcome talk and academic presentations, as well as videos and live Q&As on student finance and accommodation. You will also have the opportunity to ask our tutors, students and recruitment support team any questions you may have.
You are welcome to attend whichever sessions are relevant to you and, don’t worry if this is outside of your comfort zone, there will be plenty of help available from our team throughout the event. Please just ask if you have any queries or issues at any point before, during or after the event. There’s also full advice on joining this event in the below FAQs section, so be sure to have a look through that too.

Disability and student support
If you already booked an appointment with a Disability adviser, they will be in touch with you directly to discuss in the next few days. If you have not yet booked an appointment, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Chat with current students
Chat with some of our current students to find out what it’s really like studying at the University of Salford. You can do this at any time – not just during today’s event – so if you think of anything else following today’s event, send a message to one of our ambassadors on Unibuddy or come back to this page whenever you have questions about being a student here.
Parents, Carers and Supporters
We’ve also put together a general guide for Parents, Carers and Supporters to help you in your vital role of supporting your applicant through the application and decision-making process.
