It’s a real privilege for me to be involved with selecting the winners of the Vice-Chancellor's Distinguished Teaching Awards. These prestigious awards are a clear signal of the student-centric character of our university - they're an important part of how we demonstrate our ongoing commitment to delivering a bold, distinctive world class student experience aligned with our ICZ strategy. Crucially they actively recognise and promote innovative thinking, student-centric practice and excellence in fostering student success.
I'm looking forward to engaging with the submissions and seeing the range of outstanding pedagogical practices and support taking place across our schools and professional services. I'm also excited to celebrate this success with you all at the Vice-Chancellor’s Awards Dinner on the evening of Thursday 12th September 2019.
