College of Arts & Social Sciences

The College of Arts and Social Sciences provides a wide range of taught courses and research opportunities in art, design, English, sociology, politics, contemporary history, modern languages, music, media, performance, Law and Business. Our courses range from undergraduate to Master's degree level while research opportunities exist for study up to and including PhD. Our schools and research institutes are renowned for a high standard of teaching, world class research, excellent facilities and employable graduates.

College of Business & Law

The College of Business & Law creates the agenda for and expressly serves, the research, training and skills imperatives of the 21st Century global, digitally-connected economy and wider information society: Creating leaders in the professions and leading in the digital & media, financial, legal services, sports business and technology industries. The College encompasses Salford Business School and Salford Law School and provides a wide range of taught programmes and research opportunities in these disciplines. Our Schools are renowned for the highest standards of teaching, world class research, excellent facilities and employable graduates.

College of Health & Social Care

The College of Health & Social Care has two schools with the School of Health Sciences providing training in Allied Health, Diagnostic Radiography, Occupational Therapy, Podiatry, Prosthetics and Orthotics, Physiotherapy, Sports Science and Sports Rehabilitation; and the School of Nursing, Midwifery & Social Work offering courses that lead to professional registration as an adult, children’s or mental health nurse as well as a Midwifery courses and range of post-qualifying and postgraduate opportunities.

The College of Science & Technology offers a wide range of undergraduate and postgraduate degrees in computing, engineering, built environment and environmental and life sciences. Our world class facilities and academics lead the delivery of our research where we aim to solve real world problems such as reducing Co2 emissions, harnessing alternative energy sources and curing childhood cancers.
