Professor Huw Morris
Pro-Vice-Chancellor (Academic and External)
Huw Morris is responsible for leading and coordinating all aspects of learning and teaching strategy at the University: including the design of course portfolios, the management of learning technologies, support for academic staff development, advice on library provision and oversight of the academic regulations governing taught courses.
In addition, he is responsible for leading the development of relationships with further education colleges and other partner organisations. Prior to taking up his present appointment Professor Morris held academic posts at Imperial College, Kingston University, Bristol Business School at the University of the West of England and Manchester Metropolitan University. Moving within and between these institutions he has held positions as a research assistant, lecturer, associate dean, dean and pro-vice chancellor (Enterprise).
He is the author of three books and a number of journal articles, book chapters and conference papers.
Huw is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy and Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development as well as Companion of the Chartered Management Institute and Association of Business Schools.
