An enhanced campus

As well as creating exciting new spaces, we're committed to developing and revitalising our existing facilities.

We're planning a major extension and refurbishment of Chapman Building – currently housing the Chapman Gallery and lecture theatres – to include flexible learning spaces, a café breakout space, and upgrades to the external structure.

The refurbishments will ensure that Chapman Building becomes a flexible and modern academic space.

Along with the new Arts Building, this enhanced space will help transform Chapman Square into a welcoming hub for staff, students and local people.

We have started the refurbishment of the Chapman Building in July.
