Julia, Community Engagement and Volunteering Officer in the Student Life Directorate, manages the University’s USCATs teams and was nominated for her work in the development of the projects you can find on the Student Volunteering pages. Every volunteering project is designed to deliver benefits for the organizations and their clients as well as to enhance the employability of our students.

Brian Percival
In 2010-11, Brian co-ordinated 34 Visual Arts level 5 undergraduates to undertake school and outreach projects as part of their additional learning and contributing to their Professional Practice L5 module.
Brian has co-ordinated the Vocational Mentoring in Schools project maintaining strong relations with all of the partner Schools and Colleges and enthused very many students to work locally within education. Salford graduates now teach in schools across Salford and students now participating on the schemes who first encountered the University as Salford School pupils themselves.
