This course provides an opportunity to develop the intellectual, creative and technical skills required to pursue a career in the creative media industries.

On successful completion of the foundation degree, you can apply for further study at the University of Salford:

BSc (Hons) Professional Broadcast Techniques (one year top up)

or other universities.

Salford Alternative Entry Scheme (SAES)

Applicants will need 80 UCAS points and a Level 2 qualifications in English and Maths (GCSE Grade C or 4).

Appropriately experienced applicants will be considered in line with the University’s Accreditation of Prior Learning (APL) procedure.

English Language Requirements

Applicants will be required to show a proficiency in English. An IELTS score of 6.0 (no element below 5.5) is proof of this.
