Campus
Come to Salford and you’ll be based on a leafy riverside campus that is only one and half miles from Manchester city centre – so you’ll get the best of both worlds.
We’ve got three campuses all within a 10 minute walk of each other and there’s a free campus bus service so it’s easy to get around. We’re also investing heavily in our campus buildings and facilities, to ensure you get a great university experience.
Our £22m Health & Social Care building, based on the Frederick Road campus, has purpose-built practice clinics, hospital ward facilities and a human performance lab.
Based on our main campus, Peel Park, our £10m Law School building includes a dedicated law collection and trial room. The student union and our leisure centre are also based on this campus.
The Adelphi campus is home to our Media, Music & Performance students and our Art & Design school. By 2014 we’ll have a £47m state-of-the-art new building for the School of Media, Music & Performance ready for use.
Our new digital learning, teaching and research space at MediaCityUK, Salford Quays, is right next to the BBC and with over 1,000 of our students working alongside media professionals right at the heart of this exciting development.
