A big part of university is the student lifestyle. Whether you choose to live away from home or commute in, we want to make sure you get the most out of your university experience.

We’re minutes from Manchester and part of one of Europe’s largest student populations – and all the nightlife that comes with it.

Plus the onsite Sports Centre allows you to burn off some energy or you can pop into our Students’ Union Bar for a drink and to meet friends.

The Students' Union has clubs covering every sport under the sun, from skydiving to netball - and student activities groups with everything from debating to belly dancing. It's a great way to meet people.

We’re also on hand to support you; our Student Life advisors can help if you need advice about loans and bursaries, health and welfare or any other aspect of student life at the University of Salford.
