Thank you for applying for a place on this course and congratulations on securing an interview. Please read the following instructions carefully and make sure you allow plenty of time to prepare for your interview.
Prior to the interview please read a written scenario. This reading will form the basis of your group interview.
The interview day will begin with a brief introductory talk. This will be followed by the group interview. You will then get to take a tour of the sports rehabilitation facilities, led by our current students. In total, you will be with us for approximately three hours.
Family and friends are welcome to accompany you on the day. There is a coffee shop on campus where they can wait while you are in the interview. They will be able to join you for the facilities tour. A member of staff and/or students will be available to answer any questions they may have, while you are being interviewed.
You will need to bring the following documents. Please make sure that you have one original and one photocopy of each:
Please note that you won’t be turned away if you don’t have your certificates yet. However, if you don’t have your photo ID and passport-sized photograph, we will not be able to interview you.
On arrival, please go to Mary Seacole Building, Frederick Road, M6 6PU and follow signs for the sports rehabilitation interviews.
Before you travel, we recommend that you download a campus map or take a look at our travel information. Mary Seacole is number 15 on the map. Please be aware that you will be charged for car parking; details of the tariff can be found on our website.
Salford Crescent train station is only a few minutes’ walk away and has regular trains in to central Manchester.
Please ensure that you arrive promptly and allow time for travel. If you are travelling during rush hour, please be mindful of the effect this may have on your journey time and plan accordingly.
Please note that if you are more than 10 minutes late, we will not be able to interview you.
If you are unable to attend your interview, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss this. In some circumstances we may be able to offer an alternative date, however we cannot guarantee this. Please call 0161 295 4545 and select the option for interview queries.
