Thank you for applying for a place on this course and congratulations on securing an interview. Please read the following instructions carefully and make sure that you allow plenty of time to prepare for your interview.

What will happen at my interview?

You will meet Journalism staff and current students, tour the facilities and take part in a Journalism exercise. This will be followed by a group interview.

How to find us

On arrival you should report to the reception in the University of Salford building at the MediaCityUK campus, Salford Quays. Please download a campus map or take a look at our travel information.

Please note that we are unable to look after any bags/luggage for you on campus so please bear this in mind.

Can’t make your interview date

If you are unable to attend your interview, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss this. In some circumstances we may be able to offer an alternative date however we cannot guarantee this.  Please contact us on 0161 295 4545 and select the option for interview queries.

Please ensure that you arrive promptly and allow time for travel. If you are travelling during rush hour, please be mindful of the effect this may have on your journey time and plan accordingly.

I no longer want to attend my interview

If you do not wish to attend your interview we will not be able to continue with your application to the University of Salford. Please email us on enquiries@salford.ac.uk stating your intention to withdraw your application and we will make your application unsuccessful on UCAS. Please quote your full name, date of birth and UCAS ID number to enable us to deal with this efficiently.
