Applied? Here’s what to do next

Types of offer

There are two types of offer you can receive: an unconditional or a conditional offer.

If you choose an unconditional offer as your firm choice, the place is yours and you will be joining the University of Salford.

If you choose a conditional offer as your firm choice, the place is yours provided you meet the specific conditions of your offer. You will be able to see these conditions on UCAS Track. It’s really important that you satisfy all the conditions of your offer, not just those that relate to your academic grades.

Just a few examples of the types of conditions you might see, include:

  • achieving 120 UCAS points or 3 Grade Bs in your A-levels
  • producing your GCSE certificates for Maths and English
  • producing a portfolio of work
  • paying a tuition fee deposit

If you’re unsure, you can check this with our admissions team by calling +44 (0)161 295 4545 (choose option 3). It’s really important that each of your conditions are met, so please make sure you read these carefully.
