10.30am | Subject sessions | Subject sessions will begin at 10.30am and are designed to give you an in-depth taste of your chosen course. Select your course above to see which campus you’ll be based on and where you’ll need to check in when you arrive. You’ll find a full programme of activity for your course in the Applicant Visit Day Guide folder you’ll receive upon arrival. For the most part parents and supporters are welcome to attend along with applicants, but in some of the more practical courses such as performance-based courses, parents cannot attend. Please see below for options. |
11am | Parents and supporters Q&A session | For any parents and supporters who would prefer not to attend subject sessions, or for subject sessions where parents cannot attend, we’ll be holding a Q&A session on both campuses – ask us anything about finance, accommodation, the application process and student support. |
1.30pm and 2.30pm | Finance & Student Support Talk – Peel Park campus | These talks cover fees, funding and all things finance as well as the various support services we have in place for our students. |

2.30pm | Disability and Learner Support - How is it different in higher education? | Peel Park Campus Hear from our Disability and Learner Support team about how they can work with you to ensure you get the best support available to you. There will be plenty of opportunity to ask questions or go visit them in University House for a one to one chat. |
11am onwards | Campus tours | Campus tours are available from 11am onwards on both campuses. Campus tours last around 30 minutes and are delivered by our Student Ambassadors. |
All day | Accommodation drop in – Peel Park Quarter | Our accommodation at Peel Park Quarter is open all day to drop in and have a look round. We have a coach running all day; bus stop locations will be confirmed on the day. |
10am onwards | Accommodation drop in – John Lester & Eddie Colman Courts | John Lester and Eddie Colman Courts are also open from 10am onwards for you to drop in and have a look at the accommodation there. We have a coach running all day; bus stop locations will be confirmed on the day. |
All day | askUS drop in | Throughout the day our askUS student advisers will be available for you to ask any questions about student support, finance, disability, careers and employability. |
All day | Disability one to one drop-in | The Disability and Learner Support team is here to help students with disabilities, mental health needs, medical conditions and specific learning difficulties. The team will be on hand to answer your questions about the support available here at Salford. |
All day | Q&A | If you have any questions about your application or anything else we haven’t yet answered, please visit any of the check in desks and one of the team will be able to assist. |
