Thank you for your application for a place on one of the above courses and congratulations on being selected for interview. Please make sure that you read the instructions for your course carefully and prepare appropriately.   

What do I need to bring to my interview?

We would like applicants to bring a portfolio of work with them to interview in a digital or physical format. The portfolio should demonstrate previous work in one or more of the following areas: Traditional Art and Design, 2D/3D Art, Animation, Games Design, Level Design or Programming.

What will happen at the interview?

You will be given a presentation with information about the course. You will then have an individual interview which will last around 20 minutes, during which your portfolio will be reviewed and you will be able to ask any questions.

How to find us?

On arrival, you should report to the reception in the Media City (Postcode: M50 2HE), Salford Quays. Please download a campus map or take a look at our travel information. The University of Salford building is number 1 on the map.

Please ensure that you arrive promptly and allow time for travel. If you are travelling during rush hour, be mindful of the effect this may have on your journey time and plan accordingly.

We are unable to look after any bags/luggage for you on campus so please bear this in mind.

Can’t make your interview date

If you are unable to make your interview date, please contact us as soon as possible to discuss this. In some circumstances we may be able to offer an alternative date however we cannot guarantee this.  Please contact us on 0161 295 4545 and select the option for interview queries.

I no longer want to attend my interview

If you do not wish to attend your interview we will not be able to continue with your application to the University of Salford. Please email us on enquiries@salford.ac.uk stating your intention to withdraw your application and we will make your application unsuccessful on UCAS. Please quote your full name, date of birth and UCAS ID number to enable us to deal with this efficiently.
