Our research is grouped around our research centres, the centres cover areas under our four strategic interdisciplinary research themes; Built Environment, Energy,Health & Wellbeing, Media, Digital Technology and the Creative Economy. We offer research degrees that can be studied full-time, part-time and by distance learning.

Research staff

PhD studentships

Up to 45 fully-funded PhD studentships are available.

Successful candidates will receive a tax-free annual maintenance grant of £13,863 and free tuition.
