The University of Salford is offering up to 50 exceptional graduates like you the chance to secure a fully-funded PhD studentship.
Successful candidates will receive a tax-free annual maintenance grant of £13,726 and free tuition.
Studentships are available via two schemes. The Graduate Teaching Studentship scheme offers an opportunity to study for a PhD while teaching in subjects related to your PhD research.
Only UK/EU candidates are eligible for a PhD studentship.
Applications must be made before 31 March 2014.
You’ll join a University that has an international reputation for investing in multidisciplinary research that improves the lives of ordinary people and contributes to the knowledge economy.
These fully-funded studentships are just part of a strategic investment in research at the University. The aim is to build upon the results of the most recent Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) conducted by the UK government, which found that 83% of the research conducted by the University was of an ‘internationally recognised’ standard.
