If you have received an unconditional offer or you have met the requirements of your conditional offer follow our 8-step checklist to joining the University. If you are an international student please visit our International website for your joining checklist.
Confirmation letters will be sent out when you meet all the conditions of your original offer. If you have any questions regarding your letter, please contact our admissions team.
You must apply online by 1 September 2012. You will then receive a letter from Accommodation Services with details of the accommodation that has been allocated to you and how to collect your keys when you arrive.
Your printed guide will be sent by post from the end of July through to September. If you have not received your copy by 12 September 2011 please visit the My Student Info website.
Online registration opens on 4 August 2011. You need to register in order to enrol on your course and become an official student of the University of Salford. Full details of how to register are included in your Get Ready guide.
All new students have to attend a short check-in session, during which we check your documents and formally record your arrival at the University. Full details of where and how to check-in will be included in your Get Ready guide and will be available on the Get Ready website.
Our Student Welcome will help you find out all about the services and facilities on campus – and meet new friends. You'll find information, activities and freebies from the University and Students' Union. Student Welcome begins on 19 September 2011.
Before classes begin, you'll have a series of events and presentations where you'll meet your tutors and other students on your course. You'll also get information about the library, IT services and much more. Most of these events will take place during the week beginning 19 September 2011. Further details will be available prior to you joining at www.getready.salford.ac.uk/inductions.
