ThinkLABS

The University of Salford established a relationship with ThinkLABS Technosolution to allow students to study the first semester of their Masters degree in Robotics & Embedded Systems in Mumbai, with students then transferring to the UK to complete the remaining eight months of their postgraduate degree course. ThinkLABS, an IIT Bombay alumni venture, was founded in 2005 and incubated at SINE, IIT Bombay. It's goal was to take embedded systems and robotics to college and school students and to date they have trained over 30,000 students, and have programs running
in over 160 schools.

It is a pioneer in providing products and services in the field of educational robotics and embedded systems, with strong backing from SINE. As a company, they address the educational and training needs of India's rapidly growing embedded and robotics industries through delivery of courses including the Masters degree, as well as career orientated workshops, seminars and training modules for undergraduate and graduate engineers.

Facilities for students at ThinkLABS include:

  • Fully equipped labs with didactic robotic platforms like Uniboard, iBoard and ARM_7
  • Development Board
  • Fully Air Conditioned Class Rooms
  • Wi-Fi Access
